7/10 - Solid horror game with a few major issues, (40 - 60 mins), I genuinely would've given this game a higher review if it wasn't for a few big things. Before I go into them, this game deserves to be praised as it has a very interesting setup and main mechanic. As you're hired as an intern to record ghost tapes using a weird little gadget, this results in some occurences...

The games visuals, atmosphere and setting are all really well done. As it captures a solid combination of all those things which resulted in me having very high expectations of what to expect through the game. Although those didn't disappoint I do wish the world was either slightly condensed by making it smaller or making it so you could enter some buildings such as the church, cabins or town which would make the world feel more alive. However for the scope of the game these aren't necessary but would make the game feel tighter or more interesting.

The gameplay loop worked well and it definitely caught me out when you first go out on an expedition which is better to be experienced by the player than be said by me. The horror in this game varies from little things such as how your boss acts at times to bigger things from something else that keeps you on your toes. The ending was also good but expected from my end but it can definitely catch some people out if you didn't pay attention.

Now down to the biggest issue with this game which was to do with STAMINA, this game was infuriating to play at times as after 5 seconds of sprinting your character was already out of breath and then it would take a while for the stamina to replenish which resulted in travelling across this map being frustrating, this was additionally annoying especially against the "encounters" you come across. This was my biggest frustration throughout the whole game but there were some other issues but the other big one was glitches. I encountered a glitch such as when I died whilst returning the tape in the box. I had an even bigger one where I had completed all 4 tapes but then the game continued and it only showed that I completed the 4th tape after I died!

Ran around the woods for 15 minutes, stopping every 20 feet because of my character being exhausted. Spent most of my time listening to panting, without finding a signal, then falling into a missile silo and clipping through the world. Spooky

The actual scariest game I've played to date. Bravo

Second game in the video. Was thoroughly unsettled. The audio really made the experience. Made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up. I hated every moment after the recordings. Keep up the good work. Would recommend.

Thanks for the game :)

Uh.. so I just downloaded the Windows Post Jam version and Windows Security immediately deleted the zip. Say it's a trojan, Trojan:Script/Phonzy.B!ml

Defender is having some issue with unity games as of late. I've had false positives myself while trying other people's games. Please try manually updating Windows Defender if the issue persists

I will be playing this live tomorrow 10/29 around 6-630 PM EST =D.

Cool and creep the theme was a great idea, I had some issues in colision shape the lab stairs entrance, I died include though. But, for me, this game would be wonderful if wouldn't be these little problem that could not make me proceed (I old guy). Some improvement at that collision and it will be perfect game. Yes I liked at general things I've seen. Second video, sorry I couldn't keep trying I was pissed off with that entrance stair. Thanks for share with us.

Crazy game, I had a lot of fun, it has a crazy atmosphere!

Thank you for playing !

Good game, tho it would be better to have infinite sprint instead of 2 second sprint, and checkpoints, i was at the final time when i died and it reset to the begining, took me 30 minutes to get there becuase character is so slow.

thank you! I agree we didn't get to do much balancing since we were so short on time

I'm so impressed by the results of this game, that I had a dropped jaw multiple times... you must have worked incredibly organized achieving these amazing results! Great job everyone ^^
Everything from the models, the sounds, the lighting and smoothness fell top notch. High quality work must say. And not only that, but also the atmosphere you could achieve by mixing and finetuning the visuals and sound is just peak.
Thank you for making this! I am impressed and would like to one day become as skilled as you guys
